Statement
Imagery is taken from urban landscape, real locations and memories of initial feelings towards the place. Tower blocks, lamp posts, street furniture, inanimate objects with human presence.
Articles of inspiration becoming the spring boards for painting and print, probing and trying to make what I see equivalent to what I feel.
There is nothing more surreal than reality.
Mystical qualities.
Exploring the same motif again and again.
Presence and absence at the same time.
Sense of loneliness.
Emptiness, minimal.
Volume, space.
Technique evolves from journey.
Through painting unravelling the mysteries of life.
