Burcu Dundar Venner

Kildare based visual artist, printmaker, graphic designer and academic.

Her recent work builds on the idea of exploring individual representations of nature’s elements. She is interested in deconstructing the existing contextual relationship of her subjects from the natural world in order to make them more ‘visible’ to the spectator. This approach led her to her work on ‘tree portraiture’ using different media. She is inspired by her surrounding environment in the Irish midlands where she lives.
