Leinster Printmaking Studio. NEW MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

 Following its recent move to Unit 5, Thompson Enterprise Park, Clane, W91XYC8, the Leinster Printmaking studio will be accepting applications for new members from the 16th – 26th February 2026, to join from 1st March 2026.

(The Leinster Printmaking Studio make traditional hand-pulled prints only.)

There are two categories: Full Membership and Associate Membership

 Full Membership:

Fees €350 per annum, due March 2026. Monthly payments of €29 or 3-monthly payments of €87.50 per quarter.

Full membership entitles you to a key to the premises, newsprint, blotting paper, tissue paper, black ink and access to facilities, information for printmakers, a profile and the selling of work on website and exhibitions). Any sales will be subject to a 25% commission payable to studio. Full membership entitles you to a space for a personal storage box with a lid and a shelf for paper if available, as well as reduced rate workshops.

 Associate Membership:

Fees of €200 per annum, due 1st March 2026. Monthly payments of €17 or 3-monthly payments of €50 per quarter.

Associate membership entitles you to access the studio 12 days per year.

Newsprint, tissue paper, black ink and access to facilities, information profile and the selling of work on website and exhibitions is included.  (Any sales will be subject to a 25% commission payable to studio). Associate membership does not entitle you to a key. Instead, a key will be accessible from a lockbox the code of which will be changed regularly and will be sent when the associate member books in.

 All members will have a short induction to new studio where they will be shown the new facilities and best work practises will be explained, including the management of waste, recycling etc.

A copy of your signed form accepting the above and with conditions of best studio practise, will be kept in the studio.

All new members will have a probation period of six months when they will be given a key (in the event of being accepted as a full member.)

Anyone who is not a member cannot access the studio on their own or be given a key to access the studio. In the future we may provide a printing service for printmakers.

Returning members also should follow procedures for new members for the moment but six month probation will not apply.

-        a portfolio of work (no larger than A1 in size) containing a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12 of your best pieces of original print work. All work should be well presented, clearly labelled and any extra information regarding the prints is encouraged (e.g., dates, media, inspiration, where they were shown etc)

-        a current CV noting contact details and including all relevant professional experience. This can include experience related to your wider artistic practice.

-        an artist statement
