Regina Richardson

Regina Richardson is a native of Dublin and now lives in Maynooth, Co. Kildare. A librarian by profession, her work in the area of rare books and special collections led her eventually to the art of printmaking. After introductory courses at NCAD and Edinburgh Printmakers she came to hone her skills at Leinster Printmaking Studio. Her research in the field of historic gardens and plants of the early modern period in the Netherlands is a source for her current printmaking. Other inspiration and influences come from Japanese art and culture, old family fabrics in the attic and from what lies in the interstices of everyday life.
